Kitchen Hand Opportunity

We are seeking multiple Kitchen Hand’s to join the Recky team.

Reporting to the Chef, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Kitchen department.

Duties include but not limited to

• Action cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, scullery and all eating areas of the club

• Operate dish washing machine as per instruction manual

• General pantry duties and maintaining cleanliness of pantry, fridges and freezers

• Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.

• Ensure correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

• Handling of disposal of rubbish.

• Help the chefs and FOH staff when needed

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment.

• Understanding of food safety requirements.

• Ability to work under pressure

• Flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
